Prof. Ali H. El-Bastawissy is the dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at MSA University. Ali El-Bastawissy is a professor of information systems at Cairo University.
He published more than 60 articles and studies in Data Modeling and engineering, Data Integration, Business Intelligence, and e-government.
He has 40+ years of experience in designing and implementing business solutions and for dozens of Middle East Ministries and Governmental Associations to accelerate decision-making and to improve corporate performance.
Prof. Ammar Mohammed

Ammar Mohammed is a professor of Artificial Intelligence.
He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Koblenz-landau, Germany, and his M.Sc and B.Sc. in Computer Science, from Cairo University.
He worked as a researcher and research fellow at the Artificial Intelligence research group, Department of Computer Science, University of Koblenz-landau.
He leads the machine/deep learning research group and is a PC member and joining the reviewing board of several international journals and conferences.
DR. AYMAN MOHAMED EZZAT ATIA

Ayman Atia is Associate professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, MSA and Helwan University, received his Ph.D. from the University of Tsukuba, Japan in 2011.
He is Co-Founder of HCI-LAB, and head of the interaction group. His work includes finding new interaction techniques for large display and finding abnormal behaviour for driving vehicles, theft detection, sports activities.
His research interests cover the wide spectrum of Human-Computer Interaction including Gestures and natural interfaces, Wearable Sensors, Augmented Reality and Brain-Computer Interaction.
Despite the education and research challenges that face countries like Egypt, he was a recipient of governmental-fund and awards on several occasions.
PROF. AHMED ELSHAFEE

Prof. Ahmed ElShafee is a distinguished professor of Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science MSA. With a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering, he has authored 33 research papers in esteemed international journals and conferences, with recent works featured in Q1 and Q2 journals. His scholarly contributions have been cited by 640 other research pieces, resulting in an h-index of 9 as of March 2024.
Prior to his academic career, Prof. ElShafee excelled in the telecommunications industry for nearly a decade, gaining expertise in operations, maintenance, technical support, and research and development. This industry experience has enriched his teaching by providing real-world insights. Over 15 years in academia, he has held various professorial roles at prestigious universities, shaping curricula and mentoring students.
Prof. ElShafee’s leadership extends to administrative positions, including Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Vice Dean of Undergraduate and Student Affairs, and Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at ACU, where his strategic vision has advanced engineering education.
PROF. TAMER M. NASSEF
Professor Tamer M. Nassef received his B.Sc. degree from Computer and Software Engineering Department at Misr University for Science and Technology in 2003 and he received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Systems and Biomedical Engineering Department at Cairo University in 2008 and 2011 respectively. He worked as an assistant lecturer and lecturer of Computer and Software Engineering at Misr University for Science and Technology from 2003 to 2011. He also worked during the same period as the director of research and development at Matrix-ISD technologies, Egypt and as a Researcher with the Tissue Engineering Laboratory (TE-Lab), Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University in 2006-2011. He became an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering with Electrical Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Fayoum University from February 2012 till July 2012, and an Associate Professor of omputer Engineering from 2016 to 2021, and be promoted as a full Professor from December 2021 at digital digital Modeling and computer simulation, he was selected to be the Head of Computer and Software Engineering department Misr University for Science and Technology from August 2016 to 2021, and former the Vice-Dean of Engineering faculty of community services and Environmental from 2021 to 2023, former the Vice-Dean of post graduate and Scientific Research from june 2021 to 2022, currently he was elected to be the chair of IEEE Industry Applications Society (IEEE IAS-Egypt), Former Educational Activities Officer of IEEE Egypt section, Former treasure of the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers- Giza branch, and the CEO and the Founder of TAG-SIS (Smart Integrated Solutions). Along his career, he received several awards and recognitions including the record for highest undergraduate GPA in the department of Computer and Software Engineering at Misr University for Science and Technology, his biography was selected to appear in Marquis Who’s Who in the World in 2013 and 2015, awarded the Medal of Excellency from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Misr University for Science and Technology in 2010. He led the college team at ROBOCON competition in 2006 to award the best innovation design, and the 1st place in IEEE minesweeper competition 2014 and 2015. Currently he selected as an AI Expert at the Technological University Sectors, and be nominated to be a member in the IEEE Sensors Council from 2025 to 2027.
