Dear MSA students,
Mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety and stress, are common, affecting individuals, their co-workers and families, and the broader community. In addition, they have a direct impact on university performance through increased absenteeism, reduced productivity, and increased costs.
Therefore, as a part of MSA University’s commitment to safeguard our student’s holistic wellbeing, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Mohamed Emara, MSA University Psychiatric Specialist, will be here to help as he has intensive experience in the field.
Dr. Mohamed will be involved in developing the mental health policy, strategies and plans in regards to:
- Increasing the student's awareness of mental health issues
- Supporting students at risk
- Providing treatment for students with a mental health problem
- Changing the student's life
- Reintegrating students with a mental health problem into the university
Dr. Mohamed can be reached at the Food Court Clinic every Sunday & Tuesday.
Appointments can be booked via email at mhemara@msa.edu.eg.
