1. Vision

The Equality and Non-Discrimination Unit at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is committed to be a distinguished institutional model that promotes and fosters a culture of equity, grounded in social justice, equal opportunity, equality, non-discrimination, and empowerment of women.

2. Mission

The Equality and Non-Discrimination Unit at MSA University is committed to promoting gender equality and advancing the status of women. The Unit works to develop and support inclusive social, cultural, and institutional frameworks, integrate a gender perspective into academic and community practices, and contribute to the University’s role in achieving sustainable development in line with Egypt Vision and the National Strategy for the Empowerment of Egyptian Women 2030.

3. Strategic Objectives

1. Highlighting the active role of the university in serving the community.

2. Promoting diversity and inclusion within the university community.

3. Raising awareness of a culture of inclusion, non-discrimination, and respect for differences.

4. Preparing and coordinating workshops, lectures, and training sessions on a culture of diversity and non-discrimination in collaboration with the faculties and central units at the university.

5. Widely disseminating the principles and policies of the unit across the university.

6. Implementing training activities and programs in cooperation with the National Council for Women.
