The Summer Training Committee at MSA University has held a ceremony to present training certificates for students who attended training at Egyptair and honoring the company’s training managers for their efforts> The guests were received by Professor Nahed Sobhy, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Ahmed Fawzy Daw, Head of the Training Committee, who also gave speeches emphasizing the role of national esteemed organizations in improving the undergraduate education process by enriching the students’ skills during study years.

It had many attraction factors, on the first day there were a spinning, pushups completion and puzzles. On the second day, there was a street workout performance and an extra Barr competition for a free one day training at True gym courtesy of Dr. Salah to the MSA Science club. Many thanks for True gym and Mr. Ahmed El Degwi for the great support providing the tools needed for the sports competitions. The winner of the Bar competition is Ahmed Taalab a student in MSA faculty of arts and design.

Second grade students have joined an applicative training program at Al-Nahar TV Channel in light of an agreement between the channel and MSA-STC. The students did a great job on their tasks that the channel extended the training program for the distinctive students.

The faculty of Biotechnology, in liaison with some scientific authorities and entities, has arranged an after-school-hours training for first grade students.

Biotechnology students, under supervision of Dr. Amany Abd-Elhakim, has made a visit to the Medical jurisprudence Authority to tour laboratories and become familiar with contemplating criminal cases via DNA evidence .

The faculty of Biotechnology once again provides innovative means of education where on the 30th of April 2016 ,the faculty of Biotechnology launched an introductory session describing the format of the journal club. Dr. Amr Ageez, associate professor at the faculty conducted a presentation on the importance of maintaining scientific reading habits. The presentation illustrated the difference between a primary research paper, and a review, how to read a paper in 10 minutes as well as how to identify the indicators of the author’s main points.

The Biotechnology department at MSA University has arranged a sports day for senior students as recreational activities are of great importance in the university’s comprehensive strategy. The students divided into four teams and competed in soccer, basketball, and volleyball.

The faculty of languages at MSA university has had the great author Youssef Idris’s Al-Farafeer play on a special show by the faculty’s theatre club offered among the contributions of student activity clubs, aiming the enrichment of the students’ awareness and knowledge. And the students themselves did a brilliant and contemporary performance of the play by depicting the 1964 philosophy with a modern youthful spirit.

MSA University has held a conference with the headline “Biotechnology Horizons 2050” aiming the conveyance of some advance in genomic analysis as one of the contents of the “complex genome analysis” curriculum with the hopes of enlightening younger scientists of some of the theories and methods implemented by their peers and professionals in the field, hence an environment of established strong scientific collaborations and exchanges amongst attendees would be achieved.

Our brilliant future engineers from the Electronics and Communication Department, Faculty of Engineering at MSA have enjoyed a field trip at MASPERO - Radio and TV Broadcasting Station yesterday. The trip covered the main jobs for ECE Engineers in the station, ANA Masr Studio construction, control room and backup systems in CR, Transmission Room: modules and wave guide links, optical link and Satellite link, and antennas towers.

The Endodontics department of Faculty of Dentistry at MSA university has held a very successful One day course and workshop for Endodontics interns , presented by Prof. Dr. Elham ElShaboury and Dent supply company which offered the dental supplements and kits for the interns , the course discussed the new strategies of Cleaning and shaping process of endodontic treatment , the interns learnt how to make a maximum coronal access of different types and shapes of teeth , the design features , NI TI system and the thermal obturation system and it's good adaptation, the course will be repeated each month for the new registered interns.

MSAians have shown a wide variety of arts and talents, paintings, designs and creative ideas. Harvest has welcomed very special guests to MSA Campus, along with our dear Dr. Nawal El-Degwi, Dr. Khairy Abdel-Hamid, and Dr. Tarek Saleh such as Dr. Ashraf Zaki, and Actor Mohamed Riad, who have commended MSA and its students on their dedication, creativity and the values and sense of beauty behind their art forms. The industrial project students visited the ice-man industry. They were supervised with four teaching assistants which organized the visit very professionally, since we were divided into multiple groups to avoid any ciaos and avoid any disruptions to the workers since it is a busy industry and time is a major factor in affecting the production.

MSA Launches “MSA Junior Conferences” to Develop Egyptian School Students’ Skills and Widen Perspectives MSA University has successfully launched “MSA Junior Conferences” (MSAJC) Program which offers students an exciting opportunity to examine global conflicts and trends while working together to create promising solutions to some of the world's greatest challenges.

In dentistry , Specifically from Oral biology department Dr. Samah Kamel gave her students a different and Interesting lecture , to encourage them and teach them how to exchange knowledge and learn differently and how to be a part from a team work , She divided her students into four groups , each group lectured a part from the lecture content , Dr. Sahar shawkat the head of the department was invited , also Dr. Amen sror and Dr. Tareq essawi , the doctors evaluated each group , after Dr. samah asked the students some questions to make sure that they understood each part , and of course there was a winner team !"

Today Dr. Waleed Al Nahal Family held the third session in telecommunication department, presented by Eng. Mohammed Awad the lead Technical Project Manager In Alcatel-Lucent Corporation Company , the presenter gave a brief about the evolution in telecommunication in the last 30 years , And then he explained the technology of 5G driver , LTE- advanced , 5G enablers , and the 5G radio .

MSA university has invited the wonderful kids of Sonaa' Al Hayya assembly in Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. samah kamel was there to welcome them and introduce them to her students who gave the kids simple lecture of how to clean their teeth properly and how to protect their teeth from caries using simple stories , the kids interacted with the students in several games and competitions that taught them how to use the brush and the paste and their alternatives, Dr. Samah took the kids to check on their oral health to offer the possible treatment for those who need it , At the end of the day the kids was happy and they said that they aren't scared of dentists anymore .

This week MSA was honored to host Dr Simon Walker, Head of Educational Development at University of Greenwich who will be delivering several important workshop staff development sessions

A team from MSA university library visited the faculty of Biotechnology several times to give sessions on the EGYPTIAN KNOWLEDGE BANK “EKB”. These session were carefully designed to introduce the students into” EKB”, how to register, log in and to use this important resource.

The Electrical Systems Engineering (ESE) Department has celebrated the promotion of Dr. Sherif Kamel to the rank of Associate Professor by the Supreme Council of Universities. The celebration took place on Sunday, March 13, 2016 and attended by the University President, Dr. Khayri Abdel-Hamid, Dean of Engineering, Dr. Nahed Sobhi and Head of ESE Department, Dr. Samy El-Hennawey in addition to some of the department's teaching staff.

The biotechnology industrial projects students had the privilege of attending a lecture by Mr. Mohamed Hussien Essawy the operation manager of Metalab diagnostics laboratories, the purpose of the lecture was to help the students with finding ideas for their industrial project proposal and to provide them with more prospects about tests made in laboratories and how many machines can help them in identifying the presence of diseases or abnormalities in samples obtained from patients.

Dr. Samal Tuliobayf, President of Kazakhstan’s translator, has given a lecture to the students of the Faculty of Languages at MSA university which was heavily attended by students and the teaching staff. She was presented by the dean, Dr. Soha Raafat and spoke in flawless Arabic giving advices about professional translation inspired by her own professional journey.
