You are seeing this post as our records show your University password is about to expire, in line with the University password management policy and you will need to change /update your password.
To change/update your password, please navigate to the University Portal and click on the “Forgot password?” link.
You will need to enter the following details:
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. – Replace ‘username’ with your own username.
Old Password – Enter the last password you have used.
New Password – Enter a new password of your choice.
Confirm new password – Enter the same new password again.
Your new password must comply with the following rules:
1- The password cannot contain any combination of your first name, last name or your username.
2- The password must be at least 8 characters long and include 3 of the following:
- Upper case letter/s
- Lower case letter/s
- Number/s
- Non-alphanumeric (a character that is neither a number or letter) eg. ! & , . = < > ' " : ; ? / { } [ ] ~ - \ ( ) _ + $ % ^ * @
- Please do NOT use the ¬, | , £, € or # signs as several University systems cannot currently support them.
Once you click Submit, your password will be changed. Please wait 15 minutes before trying to log on to the portal . If you receive any other errors or have any problems, please email us with a screenshot or copy of the error so we can assist further.
Please note the IT Service Desk will be closing on the 23rd of December at 12pm and will remain closed until 9am on the 3rd of January 2017. During this period there will be no IT support available.
