The Dental committee of MSA

The Dental committee of MSA (DCMSA), Faculty of Dentistry, and under supervision of Prof. Faten kamel, the Vice Dean of Postgraduates and Research and the General Supervisor of DCMSA, has done two visits for the participation of "World Oral Health Day" March 20th in terms with IADS and FDI.

 

  • The first visit was to El Demerdash Hospital for the thalessemic children that were waiting for their blood transfusion. A role play about the importance of brushing their teeth was performed.
  • The second visit was to 57357, the Children's Cancer Hospital. The visit was targeting the children who don't leave the hospital.

This prophylactic campaign was for the WOHD17, aiming to decrease the children's pain and to draw a smile on their faces while waiting for their treatment by giving them entertainment, toothbrush, toothpaste, Smiley balls, T-shirts and Caps.
