
Sherif Yasser Wins Bronze in the 100m Freestyle at the African Universities Championship
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly congratulates Sherif Yasser, student at the Faculty of Management Sciences, on securing Third Place and the Bronze Medal in the 100m Freestyle at the African Universities Championship.
Under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Federation of Africa University Sports (FASU),
Sherif delivered a strong performance in one of swimming’s most competitive sprint events, demonstrating the speed, focus, discipline, and determination required to compete at a high level and achieve a place on the podium.
His achievement reflects the commitment and continuous effort behind competitive sport, while highlighting the ability of MSA students to pursue excellence beyond their academic studies and represent the University with distinction in regional and international competitions.
Sherif’s participation came under the supervision of the General Administration of Youth Welfare at MSA University, which continues to support student participation in sporting activities and competitions and encourage talented students to develop their abilities alongside their academic journeys.
