MSA Physical Therapy Students Engage in Hands-On Pediatric Training with Wahat Nour El Hayah Association
The Pediatric Department at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), successfully organized a meaningful community-based event in collaboration with Wahat Nour El Hayah Association for Children with Cerebral Palsy.
This initiative was held within the framework of enhancing students’ practical training and developing their clinical skills in pediatric rehabilitation. The event was conducted under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Olfat Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, who continuously supports activities that integrate academic learning with community service.
The event witnessed active student participation, where students were given the opportunity to directly interact with children and apply physical therapy techniques under professional supervision. This hands-on experience allowed students to translate theoretical knowledge into real-life clinical practice, while also fostering empathy and communication skills.
Beyond its educational value, the initiative brought joy and support to the children and their families, creating a positive and engaging environment.
This collaboration stands as a successful model of partnership between academic institutions and civil society, contributing to the preparation of qualified graduates capable of delivering high-quality care, while also supporting and empowering children with special needs within the community.
