
MSA Mass Communication Students Win Top Honors at the 10th Media Creativity Festival
The Faculty of Mass Communication at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) congratulates its students who demonstrated their creative excellence, securing top honors at the prestigious 10th Media Creativity Festival hosted by Shorouk Academy.
The festival is a major regional hub for media talent, this year featuring over 100 graduation projects from 82 Egyptian and Arab universities. Amidst this intense competition, MSA University stood out by winning top spots in two major categories:
1st Place: Podcast Category
The podcast project—meticulously prepared by student Maha mahdy, claimed the first-place prize. The project was developed under the expert academic supervision of Dr. Amira Dakrouri and TA. Sarah Awad showcasing a high level of narrative depth and technical audio production.
2nd Place: Radio Advertisements
In the Radio Ads category, MSA secured second place for the “Khatwati” (My Step) campaign. This creative initiative was brought to life by the talented team of: Sara Ahmed, Sarah Ihab, AND Nermine maged
The campaign was supervised by Dr. Hayat badr and LA Sally Saeed, whose guidance helped the students craft a compelling message that resonated with the festival’s judging panel.
