MSA Celebrates Outstanding Sports Achievements at Annual Closing Ceremony

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nader El-Bokle, President of October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), The Sports And Social Activities Department organized the annual closing ceremony honoring students who achieved remarkable success in various sports competitions at the African level, the Egyptian Universities Championship (53rd edition, Academic Year 2025/2026), and the First Sector Championship for universities in 6th of October City.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Engy Mansour, Director of Human Resources Development, Dr. Mohamed Raafat, Managing Director of Student Experience, deans of faculties, administrative directors, and the families of the awarded students. The event celebrated MSA’s commitment to supporting student talents and encouraging active participation in extracurricular activities across all disciplines.

MSA students achieved outstanding results across multiple individual and team sports, including gymnastics, swimming, athletics, fencing, basketball, volleyball, padel tennis, table tennis, boxing, and chess. The university teams secured top rankings in several categories, including first, second, and third places in both individual and team competitions, as well as league tournaments such as basketball 3×3, volleyball, and inter-faculty championships.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of the coaching and technical staff who played a vital role in preparing the athletes. The coaching team included:
Dr. Nanis Essam, Coach Raef Mahgoub, Coach Shady Shaarawy, Coach Ahmed Salama, Coach Rawan Ashraf, and Coach Ahmed El-Wardany, alongside the sports facility technicians and administrative leadership.

The event reaffirmed MSA’s dedication to fostering a holistic educational environment that nurtures both academic excellence and athletic achievement, empowering students to compete at national and international levels.
