Mass Communication Students Turn Marketing Concepts into 34 Interactive Brand Experiences

The Faculty of Mass Communication at MSA marked its first practical experience in applying Gamification techniques in marketing through an interactive workshop held as part of the Experiential Marketing course for Public Relations and Advertising students.

Led by Dr. Hayat Badr and TA Sarah Asser, the workshop provided students with hands-on training that enabled them to transform theoretical marketing concepts into practical applications and develop innovative ways to engage audiences.

As part of the experience, students successfully designed and produced 34 customized games for 34 different brands, gaining practical experience in developing engaging and creative brand experiences tailored to different brands and audiences.

The activity provided students with an opportunity to connect academic learning with real-world marketing practices while developing their creativity, strategic thinking, and ability to create interactive experiences that strengthen audience engagement.

This practical experience reflects the Faculty of Mass Communication’s commitment to providing students with hands-on learning opportunities that prepare them for the evolving demands of the marketing, advertising, and public relations industries.
