
Equal Opportunity for Organizational Excellence
The Faculty of Management Sciences, in collaboration with the Unit of Equal Opportunities and Non-Discrimination at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University), organized an event entitled “Equal Opportunity for Organizational Excellence.”
The session was delivered by Eng. Khaled Mohamed Mostafa, Former Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, as part of the academic and community engagement activities at MSA University.
The event was an opportunity that included the participation of several key MSA academic staff: the Coordinator of the Unit of Equal Opportunities and Non- Discrimination (MSA University) and Dean of the Faculty of Languages; the Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences; the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design; the Head of the Equal Opportunity Unit and Vice Dean of Environmental Affairs and Community Service, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, and the Unit Board at the Faculty of Management Sciences.
The session hosted members of the academic staff from the Faculty of Management Sciences, the Faculty of Languages, and the Faculty of Mass Communication.
The purpose of the event was to provide concept orientation to a wide range of students who are enrolled in several faculty programs, which resulted in an impressively overall diverse group of attendees.
The session highlighted the vital role of equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion in strengthening institutional performance, promoting sustainable development, and achieving organizational excellence in both public and private sectors.
In its detailed coverage, the session covered the concept of equal opportunity, highlighting its significance, the various ways it can be implemented, and its
importance for contemporary organizations. Several key topics were addressed, including:
- The Egyptian experience in implementing the concept from both private sector and government perspectives
- The relationship between diversity, inclusion, and institutional performance
- Gender equality and empowerment in the workplace
- The role of public policies in reducing discrimination
- Human capital development and sustainable organizational growth
- Leadership and ethical governance in creating inclusive work environments
- Challenges facing equal opportunity implementation in organizations
- The contribution of inclusive policies to innovation, productivity, and employee engagement
- The role of universities in promoting social awareness and institutional responsibility
The event reflected MSA University’s continuous commitment to fostering awareness, inclusion, and social empowerment through significant academic and professional dialogue.
