Faculty of Pharmacy – Field Visit to Global Napi Pharmaceuticals

The Pharmaceutics Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy, at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is pleased to share that Level 3 students recently participated in a valuable educational field visit to Global Napi Pharmaceuticals, one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturers in the region, under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Lamis Helmy, Lecturer of Pharmaceutics.

This informative visit offered students a comprehensive look at the modern technologies used in the production of solid and semi-solid dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, suppositories, as well as an overview of the packaging and printing departments.

During the visit, students were able to follow the different stages of the manufacturing process, while also gaining important insights into quality control measures and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards applied within the industry.

Overall, the experience provided an excellent opportunity to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world pharmaceutical practices, encouraging students to further explore their future roles in the dynamic field of pharmaceutical sciences.
