MSA MCOM Students Participation at BeExpo Exhibition
As part of the BeExpo Event, the students of the Faculty of Mass Communication at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) presented a wide range of impactful projects addressing key social and humanitarian issues with strong awareness and creativity.
The projects covered diverse themes, including raising women’s awareness of their legal rights within the family through the “Leeky Haq” campaign, supporting Egyptian handmade crafts created by women through “Yadawy”, highlighting the everyday experiences women go through in “Put Yourself in Her Place”, and redefining the role of the housewife as continuous, full-time work through “The Job of a Lifetime.”
The showcase also featured “A Child for the Share,” a campaign addressing the risks of exploiting children on social media, “Pink Journey,” which supports breast cancer fighters and promotes early detection, “Salma,” raising awareness about autoimmune diseases and their impact on women, and “She Can,” which challenges stereotypes around women working in non-traditional fields.
The graduation projects presented at BeExpo were under the supervision of Dr. Hayat Badr, Head of the Advertising and PR Department، and Dr. Rania Shabaan. Additionally, the event witnessed the participation of teaching assistants Nada Bahgat, Ayat Embaby, and Nadine Saad.
These projects reflect our students’ strong understanding of the role of media and awareness campaigns in serving society, and their ability to transform ideas into meaningful messages with real impact.
