
Management of Scoliosis: A 3D Approach
In line with the activation of cooperation agreements between October University for Modern Sciences and Arts and distinguished external partners, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Olfat Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, the Orthopedics Department, in collaboration with ARC Scoliosis Clinics, successfully delivered the second workshop in its specialized training series titled: “Management of Scoliosis: A 3D Approach.”
The workshop was led by Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim, Lecturer of Physical Therapy at the German International University, Certified Schroth Best Practice Instructor, and CEO of ARC Clinics. It provided Level 4 and 5 students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge alongside practical, hands-on training in advanced three-dimensional scoliosis management techniques.
The program featured an intensive six-hour training format, commencing with an online session on Friday, April 3rd, followed by an interactive on-campus session on Saturday, April 4th.
This initiative reflects the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to bridging academic learning with clinical practice, offering future physiotherapists a valuable opportunity to develop specialized skills and gain exposure to the latest approaches in scoliosis management.
