Shape your mind to shape your future
The Faculty of Physical Therapy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) held a workshop entitled “Shape your mind to shape your future “on Monday 30th of October presented by Dr.Noha Elkhouly The First Certified Egyptian RTT Therapist Rapid transformation Therapist UK, PhD of Dentistry Cairo University & Mr. Mohamed Shaker, Self Development Expert.
The workshop focused on the basic principles of shaping the future which could be summarized as follow:
- Firstly, those who wish to shape the future have to have a dream about the future and develop thoughts and content for the desired future. Real results are achieved not by solving problems, but by catching the opportunities. Shaping the future is preparing the mind, the behavior, and the attitude for the future.
- Secondly, the desired future has to create a value. Value creating activities, that utilize the resources efffectvely, tend to have a higher success rate. Innovation is the engine of development and value creation. Therefore, shaping the future requires innovative thinking and vision.
- Thirdly, those who wish to shape the future has to have a realistic assessment of the resources need and how to gain access to them.
And finally, the workshop concluded with a prolonged discussion about the 7 post-graduation myths and they encouraged our students to practice critical thinking and making a vision for modernization to be competent to the continuous change in the work fields.
