MSA Mass Communication Students Win Second Place at Ismailia Film Festival

The Faculty of Mass Communication at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) celebrates the winning students Maryam Mohamed Sayed Abdel Shahid, Heidi Yehia Mohamed, and Habiba Mostafa Samir Hafez, who won the second place in the Directing Division of the “Memory of Place” workshop for their film “Still There.”

The recognition came as part of the 26th Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts, led by director Hala Galal. The workshop included two main training sessions: the first in Cairo on filmmaking, and the second dedicated to students from the Canal Governorates, aimed at developing creative writing and short film production skills.
