His research, articles, and poems are published in many scientific and literary journals. Dr. Gomaa participates in many television and radio programs with interest in Arab literature.

Dr. Hanaa Marie teaches several courses at MSA, such as Mass Media Writing, Introduction to Mass Communication, Introduction to Journalism, Persuasive Communication, and Arab Media History.

Dr. Marie gave and supervised several practical training programs such as an intensive workshop in Wadi El Nile hospital addressing the nursing staff to improve their skills of communication. Another workshop for the ministry of water and aggregation to teach all members of awareness campaigns conducted by the ministry to be better influencers and improve their skills of persuasion.

Dr. Marie is a team leader of the SPEQ committee (Students Partnership for Excellence and Quality Unit). The committee engages students in many workshops with the highest caliber of experts in the field of mass communication to enhance their digital competency and technological skills.

Dr. Talaat is currently a consultant at the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development affiliated to the Ministry of Planning & Economic Development. Previously, she worked at the Ministry of International Cooperation during the years from 2007 to 2013, and has been teaching a seminar on 'Public Administration at International level' for international master’s degree students at the University of Duisburg Essen in Germany during the year 2018. 

At MSA, Dr. Talaat has been teaching several courses: Political science, economics, seminar on special topics as well as public opinion for the Mass Communication students. Her research interests are on governance and comparative politics with a special focus on the Arab Region. Her first international book was published in 2020 with Palgrave Macmillan on corruption in the MENA region.

She is working on her second PhD (The effect of social media influencers on customers attitudes and purchase intention in Egypt) from Ecole Superieure Libre De Science Commercials Appliques (ESLSCA) in Paris. Dr. Zaazou has been a lecturer at Modern Sciences and Arts University since 2007. She is a media consultant at AL Baraka banking Group, Al Kasrawy Group, IBAHN International, Advance Media Solution, and Ahmed Bahgat Group. She is certified public speaking trainer. Dr. Zaazou is currently running Art Media Advertising Agency. During her life career she received five awards, and has seven published papers. She is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.

Dr. Shereen Aladawi (د. شيرين العدوي) joined MSA in 2011, teaching Arabic Writing and Arabic Syntax and Morphology. In addition to her work as a lecturer, Dr. Aladawi is a poet and a radio presenter of a program titled Tasting Poetry.

Dr. Aladawi has received a number of Egyptian and Arab trophies on her publications. “The Other Sky” won the Arab Qurachi Award; “Corridors of Wounds” received the award of the Supreme Council of Culture. “A Muzzle Towards Me” won the House of Poets Award. Her collection of poems “Diwan: Butterflies of Light” received an award from The General Authority for Culture Palaces Award. In addition to Ahmed Shawky Poetry Award, which was granted to Dr. Aladawi for her literary work collection, such as “Girls of Karkh” and her book “The Social Life in the Book of Songs of Asfahani.” She also wrote a number of research papers which were published in reputable periodicals. It is worth mentioning that some of her works have been translated into English and Spanish.

Dr. Aladawi is an active public servant; she is a member of the Supreme Council of Culture, the World Council for Arabic Language in Beirut, and the Board of Directors of the Union of Egyptian Writers. She also serves on various arbitration committees which offer valuable awards. Moreover, Dr. Aladawi represents Egypt in various Arabic and international conferences for literature.  At MSA, she serves as the President of the University Writers Association.

Dr. Mary Habib has been teaching in higher education, starting at The American University in Cairo (AUC, 2010) then Modern Science and Arts university (MSA, 2014). Dr. Habib has field of experience in news and media production. At Associated Press (AP) news agency, she became an expert on news reporting, video production, and script writing. She has practical experience in blogging, electronic publications, photo and video editing programs.

Her research interest includes: talk shows, Sensationalism in Egyptian media channels, and Social Capital among Egyptian youth.

Dr. Habib also works on quality assurance portfolio “Governance and leadership” at MCOM faculty with good knowledge in course/program descriptions, ILOs, and blue-prints.

Mary Habib is a certified practical trainer from OD training department, MSA university since 2016 - now.

 

In Artificial Intelligence field, Habib earned three badges from IBM Skills Academy and recognized as AI Mastery Analyst, in addition to Huawei certification of Artificial Intelligence (HCIA) and now she is certified as Huawei academy instructor.

Dr. Osama's doctoral thesis, titled "Framing the Egyptian and African Press Treatment of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Issues: A Comparative Analytical Study for the Period (2019 – 2021)." Her professional experience includes contributions to various Egyptian newspapers such as AlMasry AlYoum and AlDostour.

 

She's an accomplished author, with two noteworthy books to her name. The first, "The representation of Arab women in American and British press during the years 2011-2013," was published in 2016. Her second book, "Saudi women in Western press," was published in 2020. Her research areas encompass a wide range of topics, including the portrayal of Arabs and Muslims in international media, political communication, media and conflict, and women's studies.

 

Dr. Osama extends her expertise as a media trainer in the media literacy training program organized by The American Cultural Center, U.S. Embassy Cairo. She is also a certified trainer from Radio Netherlands Training Centre, specializing in the use of digital media to counter disinformation and hate speech.

 

Notably, she has earned a certification in Artificial Intelligence (HCIA) and is now a certified Huawei Academy partner

Dr. El-Shimy has joined the academic field in 2004 when she became a part time instructor at AUC. In 2006, she served as a full-time lecturer in the Management Sciences Department at MSA, and in 2023; she joined the Faculty of Mass Communication. All this gave her a profound experience in teaching various topics that include World History, Western Civilization, Introduction to Political Science, International Relations, Business Ethics, Sustainable Development, Social Psychology, Media Psychology and Cultural Diversity.

 

In the meantime, Dr. El-Shimy has been conducting professional work in the academic field and has published several articles that have addressed various issues. Some of these articles are:

• “Russia: Prospects for a New Legacy for in the Global Power Game.”
