The Faculty of Pharmacy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) will host a special event entitled “Beyond Barriers: A Dialogue on Disability, Inclusion, and Empowerment,” bringing together a panel discussion and a screening of the internationally recognized film “SHE” (هي).
The event will provide an opportunity for faculty members, staff, and students to engage in meaningful dialogue around the challenges faced by people with disabilities and explore the importance of inclusion, empowerment, accessibility, and equal opportunities.
The panel discussion will feature distinguished guests Prof. Dr. Iman Karim, Chairperson of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD), and Mr. Atef Shokry, Director and Screenwriter of the award-winning film “SHE.”
The discussion will explore the challenges faced by people with disabilities and examine the role of education, society, and the arts in overcoming barriers and contributing to a more inclusive community.
Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to watch a special screening of “SHE,” a film that highlights resilience, determination, and the human spirit.
Through this event, the Faculty of Pharmacy aims to encourage greater awareness and meaningful conversation around disability, while highlighting the importance of creating a society where inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities are supported for all.
