Dr. Mahmoud Saleh is an Associate Professor of Microbial Biotechnology. He was born in Cairo (Egypt) and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Faculty of Science, Cairo University, Egypt in 2002, with graduation level very good with honors. In 2007, he was awarded Master’s in science of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Cairo University. In 2008, he was awarded DAAD fellowship for PhD study at Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Hohenheim, Germany, (2008-2013).
In 2015, Dr Mahmoud Saleh joined Julius Kühn Institute for Biological Control, Darmstadt, Germany for postdoctoral study visit. He was appointed Assistant Professor in 2018 from Cairo university. He has authored and coauthored more than 37 peer reviewed articles. He has memberships of many scientific associations. He presented numerous presentations and lectures in the fields of Microbiology & Biotechnology. Dr. Mahmoud Saleh has supervised more than 15 Master and PhD Theses. He is serving as an associate editor for the Egyptian Journal of Chemistry, Egyptian Journal of Botany and reviewer of many reputed international journals.
