Ingy El Hefny received her Bachelor's Degree from the Faculty of Science, ChemistryZoology, (double major), Cairo University, Egypt. She then received a Diploma in the Medical Applications of Laser Sciences from the Department of " Medical and Biological Applications of Laser ". The National Institute of Laser Enhanced Science, (N.I.L.E.S), Cairo University, (2004) She was awarded her Master’s Degree in the year 2011 in Histology and Cytology from the Zoology Department at Benha University, Benha, Egypt Her work focused on The Effect of Microwaves Radiation on the Cells and Tissues in Gonads of Albino Rats. In 2021 she was awarded her Ph.D in Biotechnology (Molecular Biology) Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences (PSAS), Beni-Suef University, Egypt Her P.h.D research focused on the In vivo and In vitro Study of Genotoxicity and Cytotoxicity of the Food Preservatives Sodium Sulphite, Boric Acid and Benzoic Acid She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Biotechnology, at MSA University. She has been working at the Faculty of Biotechnology, as an Assistant lecturer since the year 2014.
