Among More Than 60 Graduation Films, MSA University Media Students Win Top Awards at the “Oladna” Festival

Students from the Faculty of Mass Communication at MSA University achieved remarkable success at the “Oladna” Festival, with their graduation projects securing top positions across the Junior Jury, International Jury, and Dr. Nawal Award competitions.

The film “Setty Qaletly” (My Grandmother Told Me) won first place in the Children’s Jury (Junior Jury) and received the Excellence Award from the International Jury. Meanwhile, “The Battle of Mansoura” secured second place, highlighting the exceptional talent of MSA University’s Mass Communication students in filmmaking and creative production.

Further strengthening the University’s role in supporting the media and arts industries, MSA University signed a cooperation protocol with BFEMA (BRICS Film and Media Association) at the Egyptian Opera House, on the sidelines of the “Oladna” Festival for People with Disabilities. Under the agreement, MSA University will serve as the organization’s official headquarters in Egypt, fostering academic and cultural collaboration and facilitating the exchange of expertise in film and media.

The protocol was signed by Dr. Engy Mansour, General Manager of Human Resources and Vice Chairperson of the University’s Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Amani Fahmy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication.

This achievement reflects MSA University’s continued commitment to nurturing creative talent and empowering its students to produce outstanding work capable of competing and achieving recognition both locally and internationally.
