Ms. Mai Abo AlSaoud has expertise in scriptwriting for television shows. She studied digital storytelling online course at BBC and obtained a training workshop in data journalism by Arab Data Journalists’ Network (ADJN) and Info Times at Goethe Institute. She has a certification of HCIA- Artificial Intelligence and recognized as Huawei certified academy instructor. 

Ms. Abo AlSaoud is currently the Vice President of the Summer Training Committee (STC) for the Faculty of Mass Communication. She also serves at the Educational Program Advancement Committee. 

Since Ms. Abo AlSaoud joined MSA in 2011, she has been teaching various broadcasting courses including “Introduction to Broadcasting” and “Radio Production.

Ms. Abo AlSaoud has published her Master thesis “Motives of Watching Drama Series Online among Egyptian Youth” in AJMCR 2019. Being the first to tackle web drama in the Arab world earned her an interview with the Egyptian Gazette. Her research interests include digital media and web drama.

Ms. Lama Atef received her Master's Degree in PR & Advertising with grade "Excellent." Her thesis tackled social media influencers’ effect on consumer behavior. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree with grade "Excellent with Honors." Before working at MSA, she worked as a Marketing Coordinator in the Commercial Office of The South Korean Embassy in Cairo (Cairo KBC). Currently, Ms. Atef is involved in several programs such as the 6th round of The Public Policy Hub in the American University in Cairo, and “Be an Ambassador” Initiative by National Institute for Governance & Sustainable Development.

Ms. Eman Sayed ElAhl teaches a number of courses at MSA, but she is mostly passionate about teaching Media Psychology. Her passion for psychology drove her to lead an educational media psychology account on Instagram named “PsychBitesmsa.”

Since joining MSA in 2007, Ms. Sayed AlAhl has organized a number of educational/practical workshops about marketing, branding, advertising, and psychology to MSA students. She is known for her valuable connections with media professionals who contribute as judges for students’ graduation projects.

Ms. Sayed AlAhl is a Caux Scholar Graduate in 2015. Caux Scholar Program is about peace building, conflict resolution and sustainable development. She inspires to do research in the field of peace building, women empowerment and the Interplay between media and psychology.

Dr. Shereen Aladawi (د. شيرين العدوي) joined MSA in 2011, teaching Arabic Writing and Arabic Syntax and Morphology. In addition to her work as a lecturer, Dr. Aladawi is a poet and a radio presenter of a program titled Tasting Poetry.

Dr. Aladawi has received a number of Egyptian and Arab trophies on her publications. “The Other Sky” won the Arab Qurachi Award; “Corridors of Wounds” received the award of the Supreme Council of Culture. “A Muzzle Towards Me” won the House of Poets Award. Her collection of poems “Diwan: Butterflies of Light” received an award from The General Authority for Culture Palaces Award. In addition to Ahmed Shawky Poetry Award, which was granted to Dr. Aladawi for her literary work collection, such as “Girls of Karkh” and her book “The Social Life in the Book of Songs of Asfahani.” She also wrote a number of research papers which were published in reputable periodicals. It is worth mentioning that some of her works have been translated into English and Spanish.

Dr. Aladawi is an active public servant; she is a member of the Supreme Council of Culture, the World Council for Arabic Language in Beirut, and the Board of Directors of the Union of Egyptian Writers. She also serves on various arbitration committees which offer valuable awards. Moreover, Dr. Aladawi represents Egypt in various Arabic and international conferences for literature.  At MSA, she serves as the President of the University Writers Association.

Dr. Reham Samy is an associate professor. She joined MSA in 2008 teaching Public Opinion, Mass Media Research, and Introduction to Broadcasting. Before MSA, Dr. Samy worked as a researcher at The Public Opinion Research Center at Cairo University from 2003 to 2008. Her research focus includes; social media, data mining, education and public opinion. She supervised a number of papers that students presented at the Second and Third Annual Media Conference held at MSA. She held a number of workshops and seminars to raise awareness regarding Ethics and Copyrights. Dr. Samy serves at the University Research Committee which seeks to upgrade the quality of research across the various faculties at MSA.
