The Faculty of Dentistry Brings Dental Care and Awareness to Children in Fayoum

The Faculty of Dentistry at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) organized a therapeutic and awareness convoy to the Diyarna Foundation for Orphan Care in the Youssef El-Seddik Centre, Fayoum Governorate, as part of its commitment to providing dental care and promoting oral health awareness within the community.

During the convoy, faculty members and dental interns provided dental treatment services to approximately 150 children, offering them essential dental care and support.

In parallel, members of DCMSA conducted oral health awareness sessions for the children, focusing on proper tooth-brushing techniques and ways to prevent tooth decay. The awareness activities also included engaging games and competitions designed to deliver health messages in an interactive and enjoyable way.

The team also distributed toothbrushes, toothpaste, and symbolic gifts to the children, adding a meaningful and positive element to the experience.

Through this initiative, the Faculty of Dentistry combined healthcare, awareness, and community engagement, providing practical opportunities for interns and faculty members to contribute to the well-being of children while promoting healthy oral care habits.
