MSA University Students Complete International Summer School on Generative AI in France
The Faculty of Computer Science at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) is proud to congratulate its students on successfully participating in the 2nd International Summer School on “Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) for Industry,” organized by the Association des Ingénieurs Francophones en Égypte (AIFE) and Hub Within Agency, and hosted by CESI Nice Campus and CESI LINEACT in Nice, France, from 29 June to 10 July 2026.
Over two intensive weeks, our students joined participants from “France, India, Serbia, Tunisia, Ghana, and Lebanon, gaining valuable international experience in a multicultural learning environment focused on the future of “Industry 5.0 and Generative AI.
The summer school began with a welcome session, a campus tour, and an introduction to CESI’s innovation facilities. The program then continued with lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative projects covering cutting-edge topics, including:
– Generative AI for the Industrial Revolution
– Python and PyTorch refresher sessions
– Foundations for developing advanced AI solutions for industrial applications
– Generative AI Models
– Transformers and Large Language Models (LLMs)
– Computer Vision
– Prompt Engineering
– Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) Architectures
– AI Security
– Vittascience AI Platform
– Weights & Biases (W&B) Platform
– Google Teachable Machine
– Google Colab (Google Colaboratory)
Students also participated in a real-world Hackathon Data Challenge and developed capstone projects addressing 3D Computer Vision challenges, while experiencing the innovation ecosystem of the French Riviera through industrial visits and cultural activities.
As part of the program, the students visited Haliotis2, where they gained valuable insights into real-world industrial applications and strengthened the connection between academic learning and industry practice.
