Beyond the Code: MSA Computer Science Students Build Professional Skills

The Faculty of Computer Science at MSA successfully concluded its “Beyond the Code – Professional & Technical Communication Sessions,” delivered throughout October 2026 by Eng. Abed El Nahas, Egypt Site Lead & Senior Support Engineering Manager at Microsoft.

The sessions aimed to equip students with essential professional skills that extend beyond programming and technical knowledge, helping them better prepare for the demands of today’s competitive technology industry.

Throughout the series, students explored key areas including:

-Professional Communication
-Presentation and Public Speaking Skills
-Teamwork and Collaboration
-Interview Skills and Career Readiness

Through interactive activities, practical exercises, and valuable industry insights, the sessions provided students with a deeper understanding of how effective communication, collaboration, and professional skills complement technical expertise and contribute to career success.

The sessions also offered students the opportunity to benefit from Eng. Abed El Nahas’s industry experience and practical insights, gaining a clearer understanding of the professional expectations and skills required to succeed in the technology sector.

At the conclusion of the sessions, Dr. Ali El-Bastawisy, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, honored the participating students in recognition of their engagement and successful completion of the series.
