 The Microbiology and Immunology Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, is pleased to announce an insightful lecture entitled “The Hidden Power of Plasma: Biopharmaceuticals Shaping Modern Medicine.”
 
This lecture will explore the scientific journey of transforming plasma donations into life-saving biopharmaceutical products, highlighting the latest advancements in plasma fractionation. It will also shed light on Egypt’s national strategy toward achieving self-sufficiency in plasma-derived therapies, while emphasizing the critical role of immunological principles in ensuring the safety and efficacy of these treatments.

The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Walid Hossam, Operations Technical Specialist at Grifols Egypt for Plasma Derivatives, who will share valuable industry insights and practical perspectives.
