
The Faculty of Biotechnology celebrates the outstanding achievement of its senior students at the Science at the Core of Innovation Conference (SCI 2026)
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its senior students from the Faculty of Biotechnology, during their participation in the Science at the Core of Innovation Conference (SCI 2026), held at the Faculty of Science – Cairo University, from April 7 to 8, 2026, with wide participation from university students and researchers, alongside distinguished academics and industry experts.
The conference serves as a scientific platform that aims to support innovation and strengthen the link between scientific research and industrial applications, through showcasing outstanding research projects and providing networking opportunities with supporting entities and specialized companies.
The students presented their graduation project entitled: “The Fructose–Pyrimidine Axis as a Metabolic Vulnerability in Aggressive vs. Non-Aggressive Breast Cancer,” which was awarded the Best Research Idea Award in recognition of its innovation and scientific impact.
