The Opportunities Available in the Job Market from Studying Economic Courses

The Economics Department at the Faculty of Management Sciences, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), successfully hosted an insightful lecture titled “The Opportunities Available in the Job Market from Studying Economic Courses.”

The session was led by Mr. Mohamed Samir, Private Equity Investment Associate at a Swiss PE Firm, and was attended by nearly 70 first-year students from the Faculty of Management Sciences.

Mr. Samir emphasized the vital role of economics in shaping financial systems and guiding sound business strategies. He also highlighted the wide range of career paths available to economics graduatesو from banking and finance to public policy and investment. Through real-world examples, he offered practical advice on how to apply economic principles and feasibility studies in professional contexts.

The lecture concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where students actively participated and posed thoughtful questions that enriched the discussion.
