Education
- Graduated with honors from Menoufia University (Engineering).
- He obtained his MSc. from Helwan University, Cairo.
- Ph.D. in Computer Systems, Royal Institute of Technology (1984).
Research
- Project leader on parallel logic programming at SICS (1977-1995).
- Co-invented a parallel computer for logic programs.
- Developed MUSE, the most efficient parallel Prolog system.
- Led research on parallelizing programming languages.
- Led research on parallelizing programming languages.

- President of MSA University, Cairo.
- Former Dean of Computer Science
- Vice President at MSA University.
- Secured validation with three UK universities for MSA.
