The Opening of the Furniture Exhibition

Excellence and Innovation in Furniture Design and Model Implementation Projects by Third-Year Interior Design Students, Faculty of Arts and Design, MSA University.

The opening of the furniture exhibition by third-year Interior Design students focused on designing furniture inspired by various cultures within the Egyptian identity, including Aswan, Nubia, and ancient Egyptian art. These innovative and creative designs integrate traditional crafts with modern technologies and diverse local materials to produce contemporary and distinctive pieces of furniture that embody Egyptian culture. This aligns with the sustainable development goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030 by reviving traditional crafts. The projects varied in form, function, and materials, including partitions, tables, benches, lighting units, consoles, mirrors, and more..

The teaching, management, and execution of the projects were supervised by:

The projects were discussed with the students, and the exhibition was opened in the presence of:

• Prof. Dr. Tarek Saleh, Dean of the Faculty.
• Prof. Dr. Khaled Hawas, Head of the Interior Design Department
