MSA University Students Successfully Complete International Summer School in France

The Faculty of Engineering at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), Department of Architecture, proudly congratulates its students on successfully completing the International Summer School: BIM for a Sustainable Future, hosted by CESI Nanterre Campus, France. The programme was organized and supervised by Dr. Shereen Abou Dagher, lecturer in Department of Architecture.

Over two intensive weeks, MSA University students joined participants from Thailand, Brazil, Pakistan, China, England, Ghana, and Kuwait in a multicultural learning environment focused on the challenges of the Ecological and Digital Transition, with emphasis on Building Information Modelling (BIM), Smart Cities, Eco-Districts, and Decarbonisation.

The programme combined academic lectures, collaborative project-based learning, and practical workshops, enabling students to develop their understanding of BIM and its applications in sustainable construction, and project planning. The experience also included technical visits to the Grand Paris Express Metro Line 18-3A Project and the ESPCI Paris Renovation Project, where students explored major infrastructure development, sustainable renovation strategies, and the integration of architecture and civil engineering in practice.

This achievement reflects MSA University commitment to providing internationally recognized learning opportunities that promote innovation, sustainability, and professional excellence, preparing students to become future leaders in the built environment.
