MSA Biotechnology Team Advances in Global Tech Arena with ‘PolliBotics’ at LEAP 2025
Nihal Alaa, Nourhan El Hefnawy, Hana Mazrou, and research assistant Mostafa Hesham — the team from the Faculty of Biotechnology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) — are participating in the LEAP 2025 Expo and Business Incubator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The team presented their entrepreneurial project, PolliBotics, as part of the global tech event LEAP, which is considered one of the largest technology exhibitions in the world. The team advanced to the semi-finals of the Rocket Fuel Competition, competing against major companies and startups from around the globe.
This project was developed in the Prototyping Lab at the Faculty of Biotechnology, under the supervision of:
- Dr. Ahmed Gomaa (Lecturer and Lab Supervisor)
- Prof. Dr. Gehan Safwat (Vice Dean of the Faculty)
- Prof. Dr. Ayman Diab (Dean of the Faculty)
