LaLiga Session

The Faculty of Management Sciences, MSA University organized a session by Mr. Juan Fuentes, delegate of LaLiga (Spanish Football League) in Egypt to highlight issues and secrets in the growing area of sports marketing an area where millions of dollars are invested.
 

The guest speaker’s speech was directed in 2 main directions. First he talked to the students about sports that are no longer “just sports” but a business that involves millions of dollars. The income of Sports adds to the GDP of countries like Spain and the UK. The income of sports comes from different directions mainly selling match coverage to beIN Sports plus selling tickets for spectators plus selling all other products related to sports to customers and other. Second he talked about how to get jobs in international corporations and he gave a personal account of how he personally got his position. Then the speaker gave 15 minutes for questions in which the students interacted well and posed several questions. The whole session started at 12:30 and ended at 2:30.
