From Classroom to Industry: Exploring Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at Eva Pharma

The Pharmaceutics Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy at October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA) is proud to share that Level 3 and Level 4 students recently participated in an insightful field trip to Eva Pharmaceuticals, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the region.

Organized under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Lamis Helmy, Lecturer of Pharmaceutics, the visit gave students a firsthand look into the latest technologies used in the manufacturing of solid dosage forms, including tablets and capsules.

During the tour, students explored the full production line—from raw material handling and granulation to tablet compression, coating, and packaging—gaining a deeper understanding of the strict quality control and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards required in pharmaceutical production.

This experience offered students an invaluable bridge between theoretical learning and real-world application, helping them envision their future roles in the dynamic pharmaceutical industry.
