Five MSA Management Sciences Students Selected to Represent the University in the CFA Research Challenge 2026–2027
The Faculty of Management Sciences at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) held its Internal CFA Competition, the final stage of the Investment Analysis Competition 2026, on 5 September 2026, bringing together students from the Accounting and Finance and Investment Management Departments to compete for the opportunity to represent MSA University in the official CFA Research Challenge 2026–2027.
Throughout the competition, participating teams applied their financial and analytical skills to evaluate investment opportunities by preparing and presenting valuation recommendations for a selected company. Their investment theses were supported by detailed financial and market analysis, challenging students to combine academic knowledge with the analytical, research, and presentation skills required in professional investment practice.
Following the evaluation, five students were selected to represent MSA University in the prestigious CFA Research Challenge 2026–2027:

Mr. Mahmoud Fawzy — Head of the FX Desk at Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt
The competition was organized by MSA University in collaboration with Finance Coach under the cooperation protocol between both institutions. As part of the preparation process, Finance Coach delivered specialized preparatory sessions presented by Mr. Ahmed Adel and Mr. Mahmoud Fawzy, providing students with practical insights into financial analysis and professional investment practices.
Academic supervision was provided by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zakia Abdelmoniem and Dr. Noha Allam, in collaboration with Teaching Assistants from the Finance and Investment Management Department, Mr. Zeyad Amr and Ms. Farida Allam.
Through initiatives such as the Internal CFA Competition, the Faculty of Management Sciences continues to strengthen the connection between academic study and professional practice, providing students with opportunities to apply their financial knowledge in competitive real-world contexts and preparing them for future careers in finance, investment, and financial analysis.
