Faculty of Engineering Brings Students and Industry Together at Industrial Day

The Faculty of Engineering at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) organized its Industrial Day, bringing students together with MSA alumni and industry professionals to provide valuable insights into career development, professional experiences, and the realities of the engineering workplace.

The event featured an interactive discussion between the speakers and students, with each speaker sharing their career journey, professional experiences, and perspectives on the world of work. The participating speakers came from diverse professional backgrounds, including MSA alumni who shared their experiences after graduation, as well as external industry professionals working at leading companies such as P&G and Tetra Pak.

The discussion provided students with an opportunity to ask questions, engage directly with professionals, and benefit from their advice and personal experiences, helping them gain a clearer understanding of different career paths and professional expectations.

Following the discussion, students who participated in the Juhayna Competition presented their projects and received feedback from the participating professionals. The presentations gave students an opportunity to discuss their ideas, benefit from industry perspectives, and further develop their projects. In addition, one of the speakers offered a training opportunity to the participating students, providing them with a valuable opportunity for further professional development.

The event concluded with the recognition and honoring of students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance and academic excellence, celebrating their achievements and encouraging them to continue pursuing excellence throughout their academic journey.

Through Industrial Day, the Faculty of Engineering at MSA continues to strengthen connections between students, alumni, and industry professionals, creating opportunities for practical learning, career exposure, and professional development beyond the classroom.
