In collaboration with Valeo, the Faculty of Engineering (ECE Dept.) at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) would like to invite you for a talk entitled 'Practical Introduction to Generative AI' featuring the expertise of Dr. Ibrahim Sobh, a senior AI expert at Valeo.

 

The talk introduces generative AI, exploring theoretical and practical aspects of image and text generation. It covers Prompt Engineering, Fine-tuning, and interacting with data. Practical use cases are demonstrated, showcasing the extension of generative AI models through tools, plugins, and multimodality (text, images, video, audio, code).

About the speaker:

 

Dr. Ibrahim has 25 years of experience in the areas of AI and Software Development. He received his PhD in Deep Reinforcement Learning. His MSc. is in Machine Learning applied to automatic document summarization. Dr. Ibrahim has participated in several related national and international projects and conferences. He delivers training and lectures for academic and industrial entities. Ibrahim's patents and publications are mainly in natural language processing, speech processing, and Computer vision. Currently, Ibrahim is a Senior Expert of AI, Valeo Group.
