Academic - Technical (RAI Club)
Build it. Train it. Compete with it. — where machines learn to move and think.
Vision
To be MSA University’s leading hub for robotics and AI talent, producing interdisciplinary teams capable of designing intelligent physical systems and representing MSA in national and international robotics/AI competitions.
Mission
To give students hands-on, project-based experience across robotics and applied artificial intelligence — combining mechanical design, embedded control, and machine learning — through structured tracks, real builds, and competitions open to students from every faculty.
Aims and Objectives
- Run parallel tracks in Robotics (mechanical/electronics) and Applied AI (computer vision, machine learning) that feed into joint projects.
- Design, build, and program robots and AI-driven systems for national and international competitions.
- Maintain a shared lab with kits, sensors, and compute resources available to active members.
- Host an annual Robotics & AI Showcase open to students and clubs from other universities.
Core Activities
- Weekly build and coding sessions in the robotics/AI lab.
- Structured workshops on CAD, microcontrollers, and machine-learning fundamentals.
- Participation in at least one national or regional robotics/AI competition per year.
- Peer-mentoring pairing experienced members with newcomers from any faculty.
Membership Note:
Open to all MSA University students from any faculty. No prior experience required — full training is provided; members commit to a minimum number of event shifts each semester.
