AI Case-Based Learning Workshop

The Faculty Development Committee at the Faculty of Dentistry, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University), successfully organized a two-day workshop entitled “AI Case-Based Learning”, held on 9 and 14 September 2026 at SSB, as part of the faculty’s ongoing Staff Capacity-Building and Professional Development Plan.

The faculty was honoured by the presence of Prof. Dr. Nader El Bokle, University President, who actively participated in the discussion and shared valuable insights and perspectives on the evolving role of AI in higher education.

The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Mona Salah Fayed, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, who welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of embracing emerging technologies and integrating Artificial Intelligence into contemporary dental education.

The first day focused on the fundamentals of AI, effective prompting, and the practical application of AI tools in education. The second day featured participants’ presentations, followed by constructive discussions and an enriching exchange of ideas and perspectives.

This workshop represents an important step in the faculty’s commitment to continuous professional development, educational innovation, and the responsible integration of AI into dental education, equipping faculty members with the skills and knowledge needed to shape the future of teaching and learning.
