The paper entitled "Detection of Tennis Strokes using Wearable Sensor" proposed a system to detect stroke types of tennis players while playing. It detects the player’s stroke during playing tennis using a sensor on the player’s wrist and sent movement readings of his stroke play to the system to detect its type, so can record plays for further use in the analysis. It is focusing on detecting forehand, backhand, and serve strokes. The tool used is a sensor consisting of an accelerometer and gyroscope. This proposed solution is tested and evaluated on tennis players and professional coaches to ensure the effectiveness of the proposed solution. The events’ detection accuracy of the experiment was 96%.
