Dr. Hady Gamal

Dr. Hady Gamal, a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), won first place in the competition held at the 67th World Congress of the International Pharmacy Students Federation (IPSF). The competition focuses on selecting the best scientific research project among the presented projects from 74 countries around the world at the conference, which is supervised by a group of scientific research specialists and the International Pharmacists Syndicate.

 

The research presented by Dr. Hady Gamal, “Stem Cells as a Potential Treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis”, was done under the supervision of Prof. Sherine Mahmoud, Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the faculty, Dr. Alia Amr, Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biochemistry at the faculty, Prof. Nora Abu Rehab, Head of the Department of Biochemistry at the faculty, and Prof. Hanan El-Leithy, Dean of the Faculty.

 

The research topic was also discussed previously as the graduation project of Dr. Hady Gamal and his colleagues, Dr. Salma Alaa, Dr. Karim Kamal, and Dr. Rawda Shalaby.

 

The research is exceptional in all aspects, including scientific content and presentation, using virtual reality techniques and artificial intelligence and making it stand out from the rest of the research presented.

 

Furthermore, this research was previously ranked second place as the most innovative research at the DUPHAT International Conference held in the UAE, making this the second award for the research this year.
