
Dean and CSE Head Honour Staff and Students Behind Cybersecurity Initiative
The Computer Systems Engineering Department at MSA University held a special ceremony at the Dean’s Office to recognise the staff members and students who contributed to the success of the department’s cybersecurity workshops and activities. Prof. Dr. Nahed Sobhi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Samer Ibrahim, Head of the Computer Systems Engineering Department, honoured the contributors in the presence of Dr. Mona Farouk, Head of the Innovation Hub.
Eng. Hala Hamdy Hussein Gaber was honoured for delivering the soft skills workshop, while Eng. Dina Magdy Abd Elkader Elsayed was recognised for the networking sessions and Eng. Hussien Mostafa for the Kali Linux sessions. Student Ahmed Mohammed Elsayed Elsayed Soweilem Madkour was also honoured for initiating and coordinating the track, developing its materials and submission website, and supporting fellow students.
Students Abdulrahman ElKenany, Youssef Mohamed Sameh Hussein Saad Gabr, Raya Fouad Mohamed El Said Abdul Aziz, Hamza Ahmed Abbas Darwish Elkhouly, Mohamed Hany Saleh Ahmed, Mohamed Ahmed Mansour, Ahmed Khaled, and Kerollos Wael Loutfi were recognised for their performance in the Kali Linux and networking workshops. The ceremony highlighted the value of student-led initiatives and the Faculty’s commitment to recognising both academic contribution and practical achievement.
