October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is set to host an upcoming lecture titled “Designing for Her: Empowering Women through Inclusive Urban Design,” organized by the Equal Opportunities and Non-discrimination Unit in collaboration with the Arch Reach Program, as part of the academic contribution of the Architecture Department, and in partnership with the National Council for Women.
The session will be delivered by Dr. Nermine Nofal and Dr. Alshimaa Galal, Lecturers at MSA University, and will explore the role of architecture and urban design in supporting women’s empowerment through inclusive spatial practices. The discussion will highlight how thoughtful design can enhance accessibility, safety, and participation in public spaces.
This initiative reflects MSA’s commitment to advancing inclusive education and addressing real-world challenges through academic engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
