
Secrets of the Pharaohs Lecture with Dr. Zahi Hawass
MSA University’s Faculty of Biotechnology hosted a distinguished scientific and cultural event featuring a lecture titled “Secrets of the Pharaohs,” delivered by the world-renowned archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, amidst a high-profile academic audience.
The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ayman Diab, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Dr. Gehan Safwat, Vice Dean for Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Rania Momtaz, Professor of Bioarchaeology at the faculty, as part of the institution’s commitment to providing exceptional scientific and cultural activities.
The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Nawal El-Degwi, Head of the Board of Trustees; Dr. Engy Mansour; and Prof. Dr. Nader El Bokle, President of the University, alongside faculty deans, the Director of the Egyptian Museum, a distinguished group of archaeologists, faculty members, and students.
Dr. Zahi Hawass delivered a captivating lecture, taking the audience on a journey deep into ancient Egyptian civilization. He showcased prominent archaeological discoveries and the secrets of the Pharaohs, imbuing the day with an inspiring scientific character that reflects the grandeur and richness of Egyptian history.
Additionally, he presented two signed copies of his books—one to Dr. Nawal El-Degwi and the other to the University Library.
At the conclusion of the event, attendees expressed their great admiration for the lecture, emphasizing that such activities contribute to enhancing students’ cultural and scientific awareness and strengthening their connection to their great identity and history.
