
Global Scientific Achievement for the Faculty of Biotechnology At UNESCO
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly celebrates a major international scientific achievement by Radwa Kamal, a student at the Faculty of Biotechnology, in collaboration with assistant researchers Mostafa Hesham and Moaz Mandour. Their project, Loopet, earned second place at the WEFE Trail in Motion Competition organized by UNESCO, standing out among over 140 local and international projects.

Loopet: AI-Guided Valorization of Poultry Waste into Functional Biomass for Aquaculture and Pet Food Applications in Egypt’s Bioeconomy
This accomplishment reflects the ability of MSA students to transform scientific innovation into practical, sustainable solutions with significant societal and environmental impact.
The project was developed in the Prototype Research Lab at the Faculty of Biotechnology – MSA University, under the supervision of:

Reaching the final stage in front of an international UNESCO judging panel is a testament to the creativity, leadership, and scientific excellence of MSA students.
