
Rotaract and Orienteering Sports Day

The Faculty of Languages, in collaboration with Giza North Rotary Club, hosted a special event on “Orienteering”.
In its ongoing efforts to promote sports that enhance cognitive skills, the Faculty of Languages at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) in collaboration with The Giza North Rotary Club, organized a unique educational and athletic event focused on orienteering. The event aimed to introduce this sport, which combines physical effort with mental skills such as map reading, compass use, decision-making, time management, perseverance, observation, and exploration.
The event was attended by prominent club leaders, including the current president, Ahmed Al-Mata’a, accompanied by former president Counselor Mohamed Abu Shanab, vice president Eng. Mohamed El-Baily, and club secretary Eng. Sahar Gharib.
The activity received enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and supporting staff, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to developing students’ cognitive skills in line with the evolving and growing demands of the job market.
