The Cinema and Theater Department at the Faculty of Arts and Design, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is delighted to announce its upcoming conference titled:“Scenography of Musical Performative Shows in Modern Egyptian Theatre”.
As part of the department’s ongoing commitment to the development of its students and to staying at the forefront of creative and innovative trends in the field, the conference proudly hosts the distinguished guest speaker Mr. Walid Aouni, Artistic Director and Choreographer of the Egyptian Modern Dance Theatre.
Mr. Aouni will present a rich and profound vision on the interplay between movement and space, visual composition, and the aesthetics of performative shows on stage, highlighting through his remarkable works how choreography seamlessly integrates with scenography to create powerful, innovative, and deeply moving theatrical experiences. The session will also explore the evolution of scenography within musical and performative works in the context of the modern Egyptian theatre movement.
