Introduction to Biotechnology – Student poster Annual Exhibition

The Faculty of Biotechnology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly concluded the activities of its annual exhibition, “The Impact of Biotechnology on Human Health,” an event that showcased 38 innovative scientific posters by our students during the annual Biotechnology Exhibition and brought together creativity, scientific research, and innovative thinking from students of the “Introduction to Biotechnology” course.

The exhibition was held over two days and featured 38 outstanding research posters, each presenting a unique vision of how biotechnology can contribute to building a healthier and more sustainable world. Students explored a wide range of modern fields, highlighting how biotechnology intersects with medicine, the environment, industry, and advanced diagnostics.

The showcased categories included:

  • Biological systems and regenerative engineering
  • Medical biotechnology
  • Nanotechnology and advanced molecular tools
  • Biosensors and smart diagnostics
  • Bioremediation and environmental solutions
  • Phage modeling and protein engineering
  • Gene therapy and innovative treatments
  • Forensic biotechnology

These projects reflected not only scientific knowledge, but also the students’ ability to connect biotechnology with real-world challenges related to health, sustainability, and global innovation.
