Economists Who Changed the World: Lessons from Famous Economics Graduates

The Economics Department at the Faculty of Management Sciences at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is inviting the first and second year students to attend a session entitled “Economists Who Changed the World: Lessons from Famous Economics Graduates”, by Ms. Nadeen Eladawy, Compliance and Operations Officer at ACE & Company (Geneva).

The event’s objective is to inspire students by showcasing well-known leaders, innovators, and changemakers who studied economics and used it as a springboard into diverse and impactful careers. The session emphasizes how the discipline builds transferable skills across business, government, law, and technology.

Expected Outcomes
* Students will discover how economics shaped the careers of global leaders
* They will understand the breadth of opportunities an economics degree opens, from policy-making and finance to tech leadership and social entrepreneurship.
* Students will be encouraged to see their own studies as a foundation for influence and impact, leaving with a broader vision of where economics can take them.
* Demonstrate how their economics classroom learning can be translated into practical experiences that are valuable to them or their future employers.
